We also use the tracking measures so that use of our website can be surveyed statistically and evaluated in order to optimize our offer for you. These interests are regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.
The respective data processing purposes and data categories are indicated by the corresponding tracking tools.
b) Google Analytics
To allow demand-oriented design and continuous optimization of our website, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (https://www.google.com/analytics/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter "Google"). Pseudonymous user profiles are created and cookies are employed in this context (see Item 4). The information generated by a cookie about your use of this website includes
- browser type / version
- employed operating system
- referrer URL (previously visited page)
- host name (IP address) of the accessing computer
- time of server request
and is transmitted to, and stored on, a Google server in the USA. The information is used to evaluate use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide further services related to use of the website and the Internet for purposes of market research and demand-oriented design of these Internet pages. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required to do so by law, or if such third parties process the data on Google's behalf. Google will on no account merge your IP address with other data at Google. The IP addresses are made anonymous so that association is not possible (IP masking).
You can prevent installation of cookies by appropriately setting your browser software; in this case, however, please note that you might not be able to fully use all functions offered by this website.
In addition, you can prevent data generated by cookies and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) from being collected and processed by Google, by downloading and installing a browser add-on from the following link (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile terminal devices, you can furthermore prevent acquisition by Google Analytics by clicking on this link. This sets an opt-out cookie preventing future registration of your data when you visit this website: The opt-out cookie is stored on your device, and valid only in the relevant browser, and only for our website. If you delete the cookies in that browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again.
More information on data protection in the context of Google Analytics is provided by the Google Analytics help centre (https://support.google.com/analytics?hl=en).
c) Google Adwords conversion tracking
We furthermore use Google conversion tracking so that use of our website can be surveyed statistically and evaluated in order to optimize the website for you. In this case, a cookie (see Item 4) is set by Google AdWords on your computer, if you have reached our website via a Google advertisement.
These cookies expire after 30 days and do not serve for personal identification. If the user visits a certain page of the website of the Adwords customer while the cookie has not expired yet, Google and the customer can determine that the user clicked on an ad and was redirected to that page.
Each Adwords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers. Information collected by means of a conversion cookie is used to prepare conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Adwords customers discover the total number of users who have clicked on their advertisement and have been redirected to a page furnished with a conversion tracking tag. However, they receive no information allowing personal identification of a user.
If you do not want to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse setting of the cookie necessary for this - for example, via a browser parameter which generally disables automatic setting of cookies. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com". Google's data protection statement regarding conversion tracking can be found here (https://services.google.com/sitestats/en.html).

Our website uses social media plug-ins from Facebook in order to personalize related use. For this purpose, we deploy the "LIKE" and "SHARE" buttons. This feature is offered by Facebook.
When you invoke one our website's pages containing such a plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook's servers. The contents of the plug-in are delivered from Facebook directly to your browser and integrated by it into the web page.
Via the integrated plug-in, Facebook is notified that your browser has invoked the corresponding page of our website, even if you don't have a Facebook account or are not presently logged into Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your browser directly to a Facebook server in the United States and saved there.
If you are logged into Facebook, it can directly associate invocation of our website with your Facebook account. When you interact with plug-ins, for example, by actuating the "LIKE" or "SHARE" button, the corresponding information is also sent directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook and shown to your Facebook friends.
Facebook can use this information for the purpose of advertising, market research and demand-oriented design of Facebook pages. For this, Facebook creates usage, interest and relationship profiles, for example, to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the advertisements displayed to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities at our website, and to provide further services associated with the use of Facebook.
If you do not want Facebook to associate data collected about you via our website with your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.
The purpose and scope of data collection, further processing and use of such data by Facebook, as well as your rights and setting options to protect your privacy are described in Facebook's data privacy policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/).
